Youth Ministry

The adolescent years were a confusing and challenging time in my life. The more I talk to others about the struggles I faced as a teen, the more I hear, “Yep, me too!” We live in a rapidly changing world where teens are bombarded with information and narratives about what it means to live well. Many of our teens are suffering from motion sickness – TOO MUCH, TOO FAST, TOO SOON! Enough!

Our youth need a place of belonging, fun, peace, and respite – a place where they can process their lives and the world around them, seeking to make sense of everything with God and His Word. They need a space to slow down!

Youth group was pivotal in my life. Having adults who loved Jesus and cared deeply for me was foundational. Even though my parents were present and supportive during high school, knowing that other adults were also discipling me gave them peace of mind.

At Pursuit Youth, we believe that discipleship starts at home. However, our goal as leaders is to partner with parents in guiding the youth of our church and community.

At Pursuit Youth, young people will find a community where everyone BELONGS and is accepted. They will experience the power and truth of God’s good news and BELIEVE, and they will begin their journey to BECOME all that God has planned for them.
